About the Project Shaw had recently launched their new eCommerce platform which was struggling with high drop off rates during the checkout flow. The project was under a very tight deadline and I was brought in last minute to help launch the project successfully and in record timing.
Goals and Business Objectives The goal of this high priority project was to mobilize and optimize the existing checkout flow in order to improve the user experience, decrease drop-off rates and improve conversions. It was too easy for the user to lose motivation during the checkout flow and key actions were not obvious.
My Role Working closely with a developer and UX designer, I designed a mobile and desktop pattern library of graphics that were implemented in a responsive format. I worked with the team to iterate on the live designs and helped to direct the design decisions made throughout the development process.
